Wedding Editorial

In the heart of a fairytale setting, where history, nature and contemporary art coalesce in a dance of unparalleled beauty, we embarked on one of our favourite journeys, creating romantic dreamscapes using nature’s bounty.
Welcome to our curated floral wonderland at Waddesdon Manor with Mrs T Weddings.

Wedding Reception Tablescape

The floral inspiration for the tablescape arose from the prettiest and most fantastical building we’ve ever seen, Joana Vasconcelos’s Wedding Cake, a twelve metre tall ceramic sculpture pavilion in the form of a three tiered cake in frothy shades of mint, blue and powder pink. Part sculpture, part playful architectural garden folly, ‘Wedding Cake’, was commissioned by the Rothschild Foundation for the grounds of Waddesdon Manor, a playful continuation of the history of placing fanciful buildings in gardens and landscapes.

The floral colour palette was carefully chosen to contrast and compliment the pastel-coloured confection. Formed from a series of crystal cut rose bowls and single stemmed vases, the floral artists skilfully arranged pillowy clouds of Summer favourites such as peonies, garden roses and sweetpeas to create the undulating runner of florals, punctuated with elegant pastel pink taper candles.
To finish the vista, two oversized bird bath urns were filled with garden foliages and florals.

Bridal Bouquets

Drawing inspiration from the untamed beauty of the surroundings, we sort to curate three distinct bridal bouquets to capture each editorial setting yet all with the common thread of being effortlessly romantic and natural in style.
Each bouquet was crafted from a combination of english scented foliages and delicate flowers with highlights such as wild poppies, sweet peas, jasmine and beautiful varieties of phlox.

Ceremony Flowers

We selected soft Summer garden palettes of flower to dress the beautiful wooden beams of the Dairy lakeside pavilion. Our design aim was to soften the pavilion edges and perfectly frame the view to showcase the area for an idyllic lakeside celebration. To see the ballerinas dance so beautifully in the floral eden was such a highlight of the dreamy day.

Dressing the Rowing Boat

We completed the editorial shoot by filling the Dairy rowing boat with flowers in crisp whites and fresh greens.
It was a moment of pure joy, romanticism and whimsy to see the boat glide across the water, what a way to finish our glorious day.
